The Offline Credit Card payment method is an alternative credit card payment for cases where GoToMyAccounts does not have a direct integration with the card payment provider. When using this method, everything looks and works just like a standard credit card transaction, except nothing is authorized in real-time. Rather, after the payment data is captured, a staff user must open the payment record and then manually process the transaction using either a credit card terminal or virtual terminal. The staff user will then enter the authorization code on the payment screen and save the record. This will expunge the encrypted card data and complete the transaction.
For security reasons, encrypted card data is only stored for 7 days and will be expunged automatically.
